The MORSO F is a treadle operated, mitre cutting machine. An incredible piece of machinery that cuts easily through timber + wood moulding to produce accurate mitre cuts that require no further prep prior to joining. This MORSO F is a relatively new model, PART NO. 70787. Acquired back in 2004/2005; this MORSO F has been used in the framing trade and has done me great service, cutting mainly soft wood moulding. It is in good condition and can start work straight away. The Cassese foot operated under pinner - model CS79, is a frame joining machine. The CS79 under pinner is a sensible, no-nonsense piece of equipment. The CS79 under pinner was acquired at the same time as the MORSO F; has been recently serviced and is in good condition. In addition, I am selling with 3 boxes of Cassese cartridge wedges and 3 triangle top pressers to help the next owner get started. MORSO F product description: The MORSO F is the first choice for framers and carpenters because of its consistent and reliable cutting work which is smooth, producing accurate cuts. MORSO F Cuts: Double mitres up to 45˚ Single mitres up to 90˚ Tenon and Mortise joints The MORSO F requires no electricity to power it, hence the treadle mechanism that is operated by the foot and some good old fashioned ‘muscle power’. The MORSO F is designed with a clever lever system for cutting through wood or moulding in progressive bites. This lever system allows you full control when cutting mitres, because you can take it close to your cutting mark, avoiding wastage. In contrast to cutting using a mitre saw the MORSO F is far superior, because you avoid the wastage and the dust! The Morso F has a 1500mm measuring scale. The sliding longitudinal stop and measuring scale ensure accurate repeat cuts. So you if you have a big framing job on and all the frames are the same size, it can be set up to produce duplicate cuts at the same length. The MORSO F comes with ‘Perspex finger guards’ in front of the cutting head and a ‘Perspex box guard’ over the cutting head which provide good safety protection. The joining technique of the Cassese under pinner is carried out by using metal V wedges which are forced up into the moulding corner you want to join. The CS79 is designed to allow the operator to move all around the machine. The CS79 is designed to join mouldings in one or two positions without limitation of the number of wedges in any of those places.
